Impossible Puzzle?

© Copyright 1996, Jim Loy

You may have seen this puzzle before. The idea is to draw three paths from A (one to each of X, Y, & Z), draw three paths from B (to X, Y, & Z), and three paths from C (to X, Y, & Z), so that no two paths cross each other.

Using a third dimension or going through a letter (as in diagram #2) are illegal. Try the puzzle, if you haven't already done so.

Well, the problem is supposed to be impossible. But, I seem to have found a solution (see diagram #3). Do you think I will be famous? Click here, to find out.
