Remarkably, this CD contains eight versions of the same piece of music, Pachelbel's Canon in D. It contains two orchestral versions (one slow and one fast), a flute version by James Galway, a brass version by the Canadian Brass, Rochberg's Variations on the Pachelbel Canon in D, an insipid vocal version sung by Cleo Laine, Earth Angel (based on Pachelbel's Canon), an electronic version by Tomita. And this album is very good. I recommend it highly (I can survive listening to the vocal version, but I normally skip it).
