A heavily misused expression is "anxious to", as "I am anxious to go there." Of course, "anxious" shows "anxiety," an unpleasant sensation. As used in "I am anxious to go there," however, it is usually meant to show a pleasant anticipation. A clever use of this would be to intend the double meaning, both pleasant and unpleasant: "I'm anxious to meet your parents." If the pleasant meaning alone is intended, then the useage is incorrect or sloppy. Instead say, "I am looking forward to going there," or "I am eager to go there," or something like that. In fact, "anxious to" is usually a mistake; "anxious about" is probably what you meant.
