This "virus" is not as damaging as many viruses, according to Norton (see their Security Response section). But it has caused me a lot of trouble. Norton AntiVirus protects me from any damage cause by the virus itself, but damage has been caused by Norton's response to the virus. The virus infects the email inbox, and Norton AntiVirus deals with it by quarantining the entire Netscape inbox. So, lots of mail is lost along with the virus. So, I have been saving my email to other folders every day, to minimize the loss.
Addendum:
I have been attacked by the Yaha.H worm four times this month. And Norton still wipes out the contents of my inbox, leaving the header information of each email. Then I cannot delete these headers, or move them to other folders. So I have to go back to Windows, rename the inbox files, and then delete them. Then Netscape recreates an empty inbox. So Norton's response to this virus is making it a major pain.
