Are sex scandals in high office a new phenomenon? Of course not. This book is historical fiction (mostly fact) about James Callendar, a newspaper writer who uncovered scandals. He destroyed Alexander Hamilton's political career. And he uncovered several scandals concerning Thomas Jefferson. Callendar was jailed twice, for sedition and for libel. And he may have been murdered. This is fascinating history. Get to know the good, the bad, and the ugly about Hamilton, Jefferson, Adams, Madison, Monroe, Burr, and a number of other characters, as well as one very interesting and mysterious woman.
