I buy 3-cushion billiards tapes from Accu-Stats. Of those, SL96-9 (Torbjorn Blomdahl defeating Raymond Ceulemans 60-31 in 15 innings, for $24) is absolutely amazing. Buy it even if you've never heard of 3-cushion billiards.
Other super tapes, which should appeal to the non-carom players, are: AS-3C Best of 3-Cushion Billiards $24.95, AS-3C2 Best of 3-Cushion Billiards Vol. 2 $24.95. SL3-10 1994 3-Cushion Billiards Trick Exhibition by Semih Sayginer $24.
Two good pool videos are: Highlights Video $29.95, and Pool's Greatest Shots And Bloopers II $24.95. Both tapes have some pretty stupid moments. But, one of the amazing shots, in the first pool highlights video, is one of the greatest shots ever. In the 1995 Sands Regency Open XXI, Efren "The Magician" Reyes made a Z-kick to win the tournament against a delighted Earl Strickland. Earl said, "I'd rather it end like that than win the tournament." Efren said, "I thought I lose already." That entire match is tape S21-11, $24.
Another amazing tape is Peter DeBacker defeating Frederic Caudron at 18.2 balkline billiards (Caudron was the World Champ), in an exhibition match. DeBacker's run of 133 and out (in a game to 150) is a work of art. The tape is SL2-12, $20.
